I am in the process of getting my degree in actuarial science, and I am starting to look into what will be required of me as an actuary once I get a job. How many hours a week is it usually required for you to work in actuarial consulting jobs? And is this including time to study for the actuarial exams, or is that extra time that you have to take out of your free time? I am hoping to find a job where the work week is around 40 hours. I would love it if that included study time as well, but I don’t really expect to find that.

Regarding Elder Abuse

I’ve got a bee in my bonnet lately about Elder Abuse.
My grandmother had the most awful experience at the first nursing home she was at after getting diagnosed for Alzheimers.
I never could have imagined that I’d run into Elder Care Abuse and Neglect in my own family, but life is unpredictable.
We’re much more vigilant now, of course, and we have her at a much better place now, so things should be much better.
